Now that your cart is full of fresh, healthy, delicious meal options, you want to know what to expect with our delivery process.
When you place your order, include the address where we should deliver the meal and select the preferred time range for your delivery. At the present time, our delivery day is Tuesday and our delivery windows are: 8 am-12 pm, 12 pm-3 pm, or 3 pm-7 pm. If you are available anytime, you can select between 8 am-7 pm.
An SBK driver will arrive any time during the selected window at the delivery location.
Depending on how you have decided to accept your order, the driver will bring the order to your front door in either a black plastic bag (kept insulated with ice packs during transport) or a Sugar Beet™ Kitchen insulated cooler bag with ice packs. The SBK driver will knock or ring the bell and wait for about 30 seconds.
If you’re home, the driver will hand you this week’s prepared meals. Enjoy!
If you’re unavailable to answer the door, your food will be left on your porch (in a shaded area when possible) in either the black plastic bag, self-provided cooler placed on the porch, or a Sugar Beet™ Kitchen cooler bag if you’ve subscribed to the Cooler Bag Program.
A text message will be sent to alert you that your order has arrived to the phone number you provided with your order.
We strongly suggest that if you do not subscribe to the cooler bag program, you do provide a cooler on your porch, with ice packs, large enough for our SBK driver to place your entire order.
If you have joined the Cooler Bag Program, we will knock or ring the doorbell but assume you are unavailable to meet us at the door during your chosen window. We will leave your cooler bag by the door and send you a text message to the phone number you provided letting you know your order has arrived.
If you’re part of the Cooler Bag Program, please remember to leave the insulated bag and ice packs out on your porch for the driver to retrieve. You may return any empty and washed reusable containers from previous SBK meal deliveries in your cooler bag. They will be washed, inspected, sanitized and possibly reused – a win for our environment.
If you are not part of the Cooler Bag Program, you may leave the reusable containers out for the driver to pick up on your next delivery.
